Kaelin Akins is a PhD candidate @MedicalCollege. She is studying the impact of a transcriptional factor, RUNX1, on cardiac regeneration. She plans to become a translational scientist directing clinical trials and become a scientific liaison for her community. #womeninSTEM

 

Aditii works at the Hearing Lab in the Dept. of Biomedical Sciences, where she currently works on a project using chemogenetic tools to explore the distinct contributions of different pre-frontal to nucleus accumbens circuits in mediating cognitive flexibility. #WomenDoingScience

 

Justine @jlotusnguyen is a PhD student @MarquetteBioSci in the Cook Lab who is broadly interested in host-microbe interactions. She researches the role of gut microbes in regulating social dynamics in the Western honeybee. #WomenDoingScience #WomeninSTEM
